Bespoke Wire & Rope were lucky enough to be engaged by the Swan River Pedestrian Bridge Alliance to supply and install the stainless steel wire mesh barriers seen on the bridge today - complimenting the work our team members undertook installing the cable network canopy and aluminium artwork along the Arbour walk in 2016.
Stainless steel Flexi-mesh barriers and frames were included in the design to prevent unauthorised access to the bridge arches. These engineered frames were fabricated perfectly by the skilled team at Skymaze Industries and were installed over the course of a fortnight at the tail end of bridge’s construction programme.
Our team worked extremely well within the limitations presented, including machine weights permitted on the bridge, pedestrian management, working at heights, working over water, as well navigating the ins and outs of the existing canopy structure.
