Bespoke Wire & Rope was engaged by McColl Smith Projects to design and install a trellis wire system at Bundoora Primary School’s new STEM, Art & Library building. Working with Haskell Architects, the system was designed to support climbing plants, adding greenery and texture to the façade while requiring minimal maintenance.

Our Scope
Bespoke supplied and installed stainless steel trellis wires fixed to the existing steel structure with Di’Vine eyelets. Each cable was manufactured to suit site requirements, with swage studs and adjusters allowing for precise tensioning.
The trellis system was installed to:
Provide a framework for climbing plants to establish and grow
Enhance the building’s façade with sustainable green infrastructure
Deliver a low-maintenance system with long-term durability
Integrate seamlessly with the existing steel structure
