Trellis System,
Bundoora Primary School VIC

Bespoke Wire & Rope was engaged by McColl Smith Projects to design and install a trellis wire system at Bundoora Primary School’s new STEM, Art & Library building. Working with Haskell Architects, the system was designed to support climbing plants, adding greenery and texture to the façade while requiring minimal maintenance.

Location: Bendoran Crescent, Bundoora VIC

Completion Date: 2019

Client: Bundoora Primary School

Builder: McColl Smith Projects

Architect: Haskell Architects

Our Scope

Bespoke supplied and installed stainless steel trellis wires fixed to the existing steel structure with Di’Vine eyelets. Each cable was manufactured to suit site requirements, with swage studs and adjusters allowing for precise tensioning.

The trellis system was installed to:

  • Provide a framework for climbing plants to establish and grow

  • Enhance the building’s façade with sustainable green infrastructure

  • Deliver a low-maintenance system with long-term durability

  • Integrate seamlessly with the existing steel structure

This project highlights Bespoke’s ability to deliver practical and visually appealing trellis solutions for educational and community environments.
