Bespoke Wire & Rope was engaged by Parks Victoria and P W Johnson to supply and install Flexi-mesh balustrade infills and perimeter cables at Portarlington Pier. The project required a collaborative approach, with Bespoke working closely with the balustrade frame fabricator and Parks Victoria to ensure the system met design and compliance requirements.

Our Scope
Bespoke designed, supplied, and installed Flexi-mesh balustrade infills for Portarlington Pier. The collaboration included refining fixing details with Parks Victoria and the frame fabricator to ensure the mesh integrated seamlessly with the balustrade framing.
Installation on the lower mesh panels required boat access, with Bespoke’s team using a small tinnie to work beneath the pier. The project highlights both the adaptability of our installers and the versatility of Flexi-mesh in marine environments.
The balustrades were installed to:
