Perth Stadium
Arbour Walkway

A large-scale tensile cable and artwork installation at Perth Stadium. Thousands of individual panels combined structural precision with cultural storytelling.

Perth Stadium Arbour Walkway

Bespoke Wire & Rope staff contributed to the delivery of the Perth Stadium Arbour Walkway, working with Structural Dynamics and project partners to help install one of Australia’s largest tensile cable and artwork projects. Although not a direct Bespoke contract, several of our riggers were key in realising this landmark structure.

Location: Burswood, Perth, WA

Completion Date: December 2017

Client: Structural Dynamics

Our Scope

The Perth Arbour project required the installation of over 3,000 individual artwork tiles, each uniquely positioned to reflect Aboriginal stories and connections to native animals. Tensile cable systems were used to suspend and align the artworks, demanding meticulous planning and installation accuracy.

Bespoke’s rigging team worked alongside Arcus Wire Group and project partners to deliver:

  • Installation of the tensile cable support system across the arbour walkway

  • Precise alignment of thousands of unique artwork tiles

  • Coordination with engineering teams to ensure compliance and safety

  • On-site rigging expertise to deliver the large-scale system

This project demonstrates Bespoke’s capability to contribute to international-standard architectural tensile installations, combining cultural storytelling with engineering precision.
