Our Scope
Bespoke was engaged to design, engineer, supply, and install a custom loft net for the top floor of this architectural residence. The net serves as a balustrade, a lay-on hammock, and a bridge to a lookout window and lounge area for the children.
The project involved shaping, templating, and edging a single piece of netting to form multiple functions. Mid-spanning spliced tensile ropes were introduced to support the shape. The net maintained parallel squares along the wall, ceiling, and floor before contorting into the angled bridge section and folding up to form the floor. Coordination with the engineer during the drafting stages ensured all connection details were resolved seamlessly.
The nets were installed to:
Create a safe and functional bridge to the lookout area
Provide a hammock-style lounge space for children
Act as a balustrade within the loft
Showcase Bespoke’s ability to deliver complex, multi-use netting solutions
This project highlights Bespoke’s expertise in handling complex geometries and demonstrates the craftsmanship of our installation team.
